The final phase of exterior construction is currently underway – asphalting the surfaces around the hall. This step is not only visually impactful, but also functionally crucial for the everyday use of the facility.
The asphalt layer ensures smooth and safe access for vehicles and users, defines the movement logic around the building, and offers long-lasting durability under various weather conditions. Prior to asphalting, the terrain was carefully leveled and a base layer was applied to ensure a stable and resilient foundation.
In addition to main traffic zones, attention is paid to finishing touches – curbs, drainage channels, and connection details. The goal is to create a clean, functional, and safe exterior that aligns with the high technical standards of the hall.
Asphalting marks the completion of exterior construction works, with final inspections and possible landscaping to follow. In our next blog, we will cover the functional organization of outdoor spaces and traffic surface markings.
